Demon Meddler – After getting the Stasis Hollow (automatic story-related part), the Lord of Hollows tasks you to kill Abraxis.Only defeat Lust, ignore the second boss. For Whom The Bell Tolls – During the “Lust” boss fight (which is part of the story) you will fight two bosses at once. Also loot the items in every area along the way, some of them give you upgrades which make you stronger and are needed for several trophies. You could grind this out early and have a totally overpowered character, then you can run past all enemies and the bosses will be easy to defeat. You need 50 attribute points for the trophy “Big Spender” anyway.

Just let yourself get killed to make enemies respawn and defeat the same group of enemies again. It’s highly recommended you grind out at least 50 attribute points in the early stages of the game (the area after exiting Maker’s Forge has plenty of enemies). If you overlevel your health and physical damage, then Apocalyptic is no harder than easy. You have total control over how difficult you want it to be by overleveling your character. You take slightly more damage and bosses have slightly more health but it all comes down to how many levels you grind out. The difference between easy and apocalyptic is actually not that great. Play through the game on the APOCALYPTIC difficulty. Step 1: Apocalyptic Difficulty Playthrough & 3 Missable Trophies Remember there is no New Game+ (at least at the time of this writing) so if you do two playthroughs you’ll have to grind out all attribute points again. You can also go back and sweep up the rest of the trophies after you finish the story as you can continue to free-roam the world. Darksiders 3’s platinum can be unlocked through one playthrough on APOCALYPTIC difficulty and shouldn’t take more than 35 hours. You can also miss them depending on the decisions you make during the dialogues within the respective quests. One depends on how you finish a boss fight and the other two are presented as story quests but can easily be ignored. It’s an open world game with fast travel that allows you to backtrack to all places and gather the collectibles after the story in free-roam. For those who played the previous Darksiders titles will know what to expect here when it comes to collecting.

These rewards look sweet by themselves, but the thrill seekers might lose them all in an attempt to take on the final challenge of The Crucible. The rewards from The Crucible include rare crafting materials, new enchantments that weren't available before, new armour sets and "a vast amount" of souls to be used as currency. Defeating all of these waves in one sitting with no deaths will present players with a choice - grab all the loot they earned and go on their merry way or stay for the final challenge and risk losing all of that stuff. Second Sin will unlock the next 25 waves and so on, until 100 waves have been unlocked. Wave packs of 25 will be locked behind story progression as Fury will need to defeat the first Sin in order to unlock The Crucible and the first 25 waves. Just like before, players will be challenged with defeating 101 waves of enemies. Once they enter The Crucible, players will be greeted by The Overseer who will give them a quick rundown of the incoming challenges. Before they can do that though, they will first have to test their wallet, provided they didn't buy one of the more expensive editions of Darksiders 3. Players will be able to test their mettle in The Crucible DLC in Darksiders 3 as their endurance might reach its limits.
